I check the Monk website all the time. I got on today seeing the ad for Season and 8 and i was like yay! Then when i saw the words FINAL SEASON I was like no!!!
But I will say this. I really hope they conclude with why Trudy was killed and what exactly happened to her. If they don't I will go crazy. It's would be a great FINAL episode to see Monk come face to face with the killer or find out exactly what happened. I've been watching Monk since the first day it aired . . . it's all i ask for. I've been waiting 8 years now to see what happened to Trudy and this is the time they can finally reveal it.

Well, Its had a great run, Its been a great series, I have to get back into it and see what happened to Trudy.

yeah they better have a great finale of what happened to Trudy. That is the MAINFRAME of the series. Monk does small cases while uncovering clues on the BIG case. The death of his wife . . .

yeah there are now 7 complete seasons, over 100 episodes. the final 16 will start in Summer 09 and go into 2010 of Feb. then it will be over.

Sorry to hear about that, I personally never have watched the show, seen a few episodes but that it. It gotta end sometime right? Monk did good since it got 8 seaons alot of shows don't make it past the 3rd or 4th season.

yeah I know it was doing really well. In fact really good. TV rating each week for this series were really high. It was decided by the writers and even actors that it's time to move on to new projects. I don't blame them, just sad b/c it was so good.
But now i got burn notice from USA so yay :D

It's sad to see end, but Its given a great treat to it's fan's, and this last season will probably uncover why Trudy was killed, and alot of shows are rushed, this one is alot like Seinfeld or Friends, where it had a great run, but it needs to end sometime.
